Description wallykramer 2008-12-01 21:30:04 UTC
When the installer sets up the program menu (in Start Menu | Programs), it
creates items as
OpenOffice.org Base
OpenOffice.org Calc
OpenOffice.org Draw
OpenOffice.org Impress
OpenOffice.org Math
OpenOffice.org Writer

But since these are created in a submenu named OpenOffice.org 2.4,
OpenOffice.org is completely redundant.

Furthermore, this arrangement voids the ability to choose an item by typing the
first character (C for Calc, W for Writer, etc.) since they all start with O.

Please drop OpenOffice.org from each of the submenu choices. This probably
applies to all GUI environments, though I haven't investigated beyond Windows.
"OpenOffice.org" should prefix only non-cascading menus.
