I have installed OOo 3.0.1 RC1 Italian on Vista Italian. I have also tried to
install the English en-US langpack, but, after installation that seems correct,
the English language is not available in Tools > Options... > Language Settings
> Languages > User interface.

I can't confirm. After the installation of the en-US lang pack the UI language
appears in "Tools > Options... > Language Settings > Languages > User interface".

I have the problem with both my machines: a notebook running Vista SP1 and a
desktop running XP SP3.
Other users have reported the problem on the Italian newsgroup.
OOo 3.0 works fine. The issue is for 3.0.1 RC1.

I can now reproduce the issue on 3 different PCs running Vista or XP Italian.
It should be correlated with Issue 94576? Sorry, but I reopen this issue...

I found the problem. The langpack is present, but the item in the list in not
visible due Issue 97710.
I apologize for the misunderstanding, end thanks for your support. Issue closed.
