hello
version 2.4.2 and 3.0 can't show full text from a simple .doc file
guess this is a big bug
i have a microsoft document (.doc) file which is fine can be viewed from ms word
or browser preview (in writer) but not by writer himself. the document have 9
pages long but writer see only 1 and he can't formating document like it's
intended and showed in a word
i repeat: it works fine in a word himself
sorry my poor english, anyway i don't know how to attach the file here so if u
didn't heard about this bug let me send it to you somehow

I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 (DE) Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [OOO300m9
(Build9358)]" and can confirm the reported effect: only first page is visible.
Same with "Ooo 3.1 Multilingual version English  UI WIN XP: [DEV300m36 (Build
9369)]", "2.4.1  Multilingual version German UI WIN XP: [680m17(Build9310)]",
"1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)]".

MS WORD Viewer shows several pages

This issue might be related to (or DUP of) Issue 70262

I don't think it's related to Issue 70262 because here the table is inserted in
a frame and frames don't break on page breaks in OOo.

@MRU: any comment?

Problem is, that the table is formatted as "text flow around table" which is
currently not supported by Writer. See issue 13791 for further information.
Also notice my new attachment - this will import fine in Writer.
