Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 98270
Query Designer: When I scroll to the right side, the screen is not refreshed
Last modified: 2009-03-12 12:17:00 UTC
The screen of Query Designer is not refreshed. This problem was confirmed with OOo 3.0 and Windows XP. Reproduce scenario: 1. open a odb file (e.g. http://www.openoffice.org/nonav/issues/showattachment.cgi/59404/faq4_1383_sample.odb) 2. edit a query (e.g. query1 in faq4_1383_sample.odb) 3. click ">" button with a mouse and scroll to the right side Problem: The second field was displayed by the left of the screen. When I refresh the screen forcibly(e.g. back after having minimized), it becomes normal. I attach image file when screen became strange. Reference: http://oooug.jp/faq/index.php?faq/4/1461

Confirmed w/ OO.o 3.0.1 RC2, XP This happens only when you scroll by small increments, using the right/left arrow buttons or by moving the scroll bar in small discreet steps. If you use the scroll bar to move from max left to max right for instance the problem does not happen. Also the problem is purely UI based - meaning that even when the display shows the extra selected column execution of the query is not affected. Setting keyword regression as this does not happen in 2.4.1

Yes! When I use the scroll bar, the problem does not happen. Thanks, M.Kamataki
Timeline for 3.1 is to near. Set to 3.2.
Seemed to be already fixed in a pre OOo 3.1 aka DEV300 m38. Can anyone confirm that?
Seems to work properly under DEV300_m39 / Ubuntu (Gnome) Will check under XP later this afternoon and close if appropriate.
Closing this one. Feel free to reopen it when it is not fixed.
