Description javve 2009-01-24 23:44:04 UTC
When you copy a page on the web, paste it in open office, the images are not
saved locally within open office writer, instead they are linked to the
origional location for the images, thus making it have to download and load the
images every time. This not only makes it a pain to have to save each image
locally then paste them into the document, but it slows the writer down bringing
the overall experience down.

Goto Edit > Links and click on "Break link" for every image while the internet
connection is active.

To do this automatically is already tracked in issue 37652. Perhaps you want to
vote on that issue?
