Description Unknown 2002-12-05 08:39:19 UTC
Cell formatting changes after executing search/replace command. It also
corrupts hyperlinks.

Hi Reporter,
I had to see in my 1.0.3 german version WIN98SE spreadsheet a similar
effect.

Can you please report how exactly the links become destroyed?

I see two effects, of which I do not know how they are caused:

A link
<file:///C:/EigeneDateien/OpenOffice/ANGEBOTE/0305_010/korr0510.sxw>
becomes
<file:///C:/Eigene%20Dateien/OpenOffice/ANGEBOTE/0305_010/korr0510.sxw>
                  ^^^^^^
                       interesting

Also in some hyperlinks a part of the hyperlink disappeared, for
example the part /ANGEEBOTE/

That would be ctitical.

Is this your effect ?

Now I see the problem with the hyperlink:
If automatic spellcheck is activated, during a "search and replace"
the string '%20' is inserted into my hyperlink, and so I get a
'Eigene%20Dateien'.

I this solved with the fixing of issue 6591?

I did not find any other format-problems with "search and replace"

Everything seemed clear in my comment 2003-06-03 06:08 PDT,
but today I am not able to reproduce that behaviour.
Especially my suspect concerning "%20" is nonsense, this term must be
so and is absolutely correct.
But on the other hand I _had_ the effect, that a hyperlink didn_t work
any longer after a "search and Replace", and I saw a similar problem
in a textfile
Sorry for the SPAM, I will do further tests.

Rainer
