alt-up and alt-down movement of insertion point within table: review (subject to Apple guidelines)

Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum. }}} — an insertion point in the midst of the first Lorem ipsum text is moved, by successive alt-down key combinations: • first, to the end of that paragraph (correct) • next, to the blank line (contradicts Apple guidelines). This behaviour is remarkable in various applications including but not limited to Mail, Safari and TextEdit so it seems that the guideline is open to misinterpretation.
In tables, the alt-arrow combination should change the table row height and never work as cursor move. This is incorrect in the Mac implementation. MRU->OS: the Alt-cursor key does both on MAC OS; it changes table row height and moves the cursor simultaneously.

To clarify, on Mac OS X: * neither alt-up nor alt-down should change the row height * alt-up and alt-down should move the cursor * when a blank line exists between multiple paragraphs, the point to which the cursor *should* move is (comparing Apple applications with Apple Guidelines) not 100% clear.
