Description Graham Perrin 2009-02-08 17:39:56 UTC
1.	launch OOo-dev

2.	observe good positioning of the non-document window

3.	command-N

4.	observe less than ideal positioning of the document window.

= Comparison =

Apple Pages sets a fairly good example.

I'll attach screen shots.

http://www.diigo.com/04s2p includes highlights from Apple HIG. Note that the Guidelines are not
entirely clear, and that some current applications (including but not limited to Apple TextEdit 1.5 (244))
contradict the Guidelines, or vice versa. I have provided early feedback to Apple (using the option at the
foot of their page); additional feedback to Apple should be welcomed.
