Description ud 2009-02-09 18:31:43 UTC
The property browser has no position and/or size field for controls. Please make
it possible to use values in the form property's like the new Report Builder has
too.

Now it is not easy to change the size of an field without using the mouse.

To change the size, you have to open "Position and Size" dialog, where you only
change one field at once. After that you have to close the dialog, select the
next control and open the "Position and Size" dialog another time. This is no
fun to change a lot of field's to get the same size.

I prefer the first solution.

confirming, grabbing, targeting, changing issue type to ENHANCEMENT

fixed in CWS dba32b. Not only Position and Size have been added, but also the
Anchor, since in Writer, the position is relative to the anchor, so having the
position alone does not make sense. (Convincing the existing UNO shape
implementations to *notify* the change in their position/size/anchor, when
touched from outside the property browser, so the latter gets updated then, was
the really difficult and time-consuming part of this implementation ... :-\ )

fs->msc: please verify in CWS dba32b
Comment 4 Frank Schönheit 2009-05-07 11:00:43 UTC
targeting to 3.2, since the fix is part of a CWS aiming for this release

verified in CWS dba32b
