Description mikeymikemike 2009-02-24 16:45:08 UTC
Currently, when colleagues create a list inside a manually created textbox a
standard list will appear. List style for the textbox has to be rebuild from
scratch even if the list style is set in the Slide Master.

Steps:
(sorry if there are mistakes, I'm running on the Dutch 3.0.1 and still haven't
downloaded the English build)

- Create a Slide Master with a list style (change the colors of the bullets)
- Close the Slide Master and apply the layout design to a slide
- Check if it works > the colors should be changed of the list
- Go to the toolbar for Drawing and select the Rectangular Tool (or the textbox
tool)
- Create a rectangle inside the slide. Double click inside it and start to type.
- Right click and create a list of it > the list will be with standard black
bullets, not with the style set in the Slide Master.

If the use of list styles in Impress were similar to Writer I could apply the
right style and work more structurally.

I would not expect, that a style for a presentation object will work for a
graphic object, because that are different kind of objects. In addition, please
consider that text boxes are available in Draw too, but presentation objects are
not available in Draw.

Currently there is neither a numbering property in the style of a graphic object
nor in the hard settings of a paragraph. The latter might be solved with issue
90113 and assigning paragraph and character styles to part of text boxes is
tracked in 19340.
