Description 2009-02-24 18:37:13 UTC
See attachted Screenshots.

First is taken while in editing mode. Everything is fine.

The second one is taken while in presentation mode. Note the thin grey lines on
the polyline.

I cannot see it on your pictures, but I see it on my own tries. For me the lines
are there, if I have hardware acceleration on and the lines vanish when I turn
hardware acceleration off.

You can see lines, if you use an ellipse with a line width of 1cm and color
Brown for example.

Yeah, you really have to look very closely on the second screenshot.

I can confirm that turning HW accel off makes the lines vanish but that also
disables anti aliasing in presentation mode.

Reassigned. @aw: I was not able to reproduce this here but the screenshot
clearly shows the problem. Any ideas about this?

Maybe some words on my graphical hw equipment:

VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G72M [Quadro NVS 110M/GeForce Go
7300] (rev a1)

on Linux with recent nvidia 180.22-1 lkm

AW: Yes i know what it is. The fat lines get prepared in presentation module
using polygons (which You see seperated by the gray stuff). When AntiAliasing
is used - depending on the sysetm You are on - the AAed polygons whicg
geometrically correctly attact to each other do graphically not. I had the same
problem for OOo 3.1 with the DrawingLayer and for filled single colored
polygons resulting from fat line preparations i also paint the hairline outline
in polygon color to avoid the problem.
AW->THB: Please take over. Nice greetings from Naples, Florida :-)

@af: Thanks for taking a look. An artifact of low-quality geometry used in the
metafile transport to slideshow. Using the drawing layer primitives plus a
renderer that makes use of the XCanvas::strokePolyPolygon() functionality will
solve this.
