Description redflagzhulihua 2009-03-04 02:46:40 UTC
1. Enter a decimal in a cell, and apply user-defined format to it. The possible
user-defined format including:

[DBNum4](Just for Korean)

I can confirm [DBNum1] [DBNum2] and [DBNum3] don't work. I think maybe [DBNum4]
don't work for Korean either.

Hello redflagzhulihua, *,
I can confirm this issue with OOO330m6 under Debian SID/Experimental AMD64 ...
:( @redflagzhulihua: Could you please add information about the OS/architecture,
which you have used to find your issues, please? That prevents us other testers
for asking everytime ... ;)

Hi Thomas,

We tested on Windows Xp and Linux(Redhat) with X86.

Can't confirm. With OOO330m6 and number format locale zh-CN (Chinese
simplified), formats and display strings for the value 1.23 are:
[DBNum1]General  => 一.二三
[DBNum2]General  => 壹点贰叁
[DBNum3]General  => 1.23

Note that entering only a modifier [DBNum1] as code doesn't display anything,
also the digits code is needed, for example at least [DBNum1]0 to display values
without decimals.

Further note that the preferred modifier notation is [NatNum#] that for some
locales provides more transliterations than available with [DBNum#], which
exists only for Excel interoperability.

Hello er,

Thank you very much. You are right. The issue caused by the wrong use of the format.

I'll close this issue.
