Comment 2 Joost Andrae 2009-03-18 14:19:00 UTC
Additional info: I was able to reproduce the behavior in both 3.0.0 and 3.0.1
but it is not drag&drop but

select the cell content having cell style formats applied (C2:C4)
then use the cell drag handle and fill the cells until you reach at least column F

columns E and F will not have cell styles applied

ja->nn: please take a look at this

Hi Joost,
Firstly, thank you for your letter about soft-formatting.
For this issue, like what you have try, drag and dorp cells appling soft-
formatting, all of cells can keep the original styles, works well.
So, I try your dones, indeed columns E and F have no soft-formatting applied in.

confirmed with oo 3.1 - please set target to 3.2
Comment 5 jbf.faure 2009-05-31 19:47:18 UTC
I confirm the described behaviour on OOo 3.1 on ubuntu 8.04.

Additional info : If you drag for only one column and then continue to drag to
the right, you can extend the format as long as you want. I think it is not the
expected behaviour, but it may be used as workaround.

Due to time constraints, this won't be fixed for 3.2. New target 3.3.
