Description borsotti 2009-03-06 07:20:58 UTC
Take the attached text document, select the frame,
hit the "cut" button on the toolbar, and then the
"undo" button on the toolbar. The ordering of the
rectangles is changed. In the original one rectangle
7 is behind all others, then comes 4 over it, 3 and 5
over it, and then the others. In the new picture,
4 is instead over 3 and 5.
This problem occurs also randomly when saving and
reopening a document, or unexpectedly when editing
text outside the picture.
This is a P2 problem because the contents of the
documents get corrupted.

@OD: Please have a look.
Comment 3 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2009-03-06 14:38:55 UTC
That is an annoying issue.

Deeper investigation needed to fix this issue

Select all rectangles and group them.
Comment 4 borsotti 2009-04-08 07:58:33 UTC
I closed and then reopened a document, and many figures
got corrupted: many lines got moved to the top of the
page. See the attachment screen capture.
I think this is the very same problem.
This must be priority one because it is corrupting

Comment 6 borsotti 2009-04-08 08:05:37 UTC
The Writer crashed a minute after I opened the document and noticed
that the figures got corrupted. The Writer mailed automatically a
crash report after that.
Comment 7 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2009-04-08 08:24:01 UTC
I am sorry, but I can not reproduce the moving of Drawing objects after a
save-and-load cycle, because I have not the document.
Please submit a new issue for the defect that Drawing objects are moved after a
save-and-load cycle, because this issue is about a defect by "cut and undo".
Please attach the document, with which the defect occurs. Thx.

I also can not reproduce the crash without having the document, with which the
crash occurs. Please submit a new issue.

Note: It does not make sense to work on three different defects - "cut and undo"
defect, "save and load" defect and a crash - in one issue.

This is issue is for the "cut and undo" defect -> setting priority back of this
issue back to P3
Comment 8 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2009-04-20 08:00:25 UTC
Again, setting priority back of this issue back to P3

OD->borsotti: Please do not change priority of issues without any reason.
Comment 9 Oliver-Rainer Wittmann 2009-04-20 08:04:26 UTC
forgot to set priority back to P3 ;-)
Comment 10 Marcus 2017-05-20 11:17:52 UTC
