Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 99976
Cannot print A3 in two A4
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:33:28 UTC
Test case: 1) Create a new Draw file 2) Set the page to A3 3) Insert picture 4) Print 4.1) If A3 page is set to Landscape, make the settings yield A4-portrait 4.2) If A3 page is set to Portrait, make the settings yield A4-Landscape 5) When prompted "The page settings do not match the print range", choose "Print on multiple pages" 6) Confirm the output is 4 pages instead of 2. To save paper, you might want to print to the PDF printer. Input: http://www.speedfile.org/623127 Output (in pdf printer, the same in a physical printer): http://www.speedfile.org/938083 If I simply ask to print it (in A4-landscape), and "Print on multiple pages" it'll ignore that I asked it to be landscape, and print 4 portrait A4 sheets with the image broken between them. The correct output should be two A4 pages, each one with half the A3 image. More discussion info: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=317200#317200
