Hi,
I need to read an excel sheet using JAVA API.This excel sheet cells contains 
formula.
I tried this with POI released version 1.51 available on Jakarta site, It does 
not parse the cells which 
has formula. WIth 1.7.0 developer version , I am able to parse excel sheet 
whose cells contains formula.
As its a critical requirement from our client , will it be safe to use 
developer version? and when is Jakarta community
releasing the latest version of POI which has formula support ?

I will be really thankful for your sooner response.

Be careful using the 1.7 release.  It's forumla support is not feature complete
and is not really recommended as being of production quality.

Also there is no scheduled release date for 2.0.  It's simply too difficult to
predict schedules when people are working on this in their spare time.
