Description Eric Dunn 2003-09-10 00:28:20 UTC
(OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port)
is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs

How to resolve this?
Comment 1 Robert Andersson 2003-09-20 00:16:38 UTC
Apache is probably already running (sitting on the socket and locking the
logs). That is, not a bug, but simply usage problems. If you had put part of
the error into google, you'd have found that out.

This is no place for setup issues, and if you have problems, direct questions
to the user mailing list, see: http://httpd.apache.org/userslist.html

No response from reporter and most probably a configuration issue. Feel free to reopen if you
encounter any further problems with this.
