Description Asgeir Nilsen 2005-05-04 15:03:41 UTC
In LogPanel Preferences, I am able to de-select columns. However, this
exclusion of columns is not remembered when I restart Chainsaw.

The Tab Identifier in use is PROP.metro2.hostname, which gives the host name of
the server issuing the LogEvent (an in-house custom extension to XMLLayout
handles this).

My C:\Documents and Settings\t510242\.chainsaw folder does contain
HOSTNAME.columns files, but they seem to be disregarded.

You have to 'double-click' on a column to check/uncheck...single click selects the row, double-click toggles enabled flag

A number of changes have been made to the preferences storing/loading, so this issue should be resolved when the next release is made. Please try to repro when the next release is available (hopefully soon).
