Javadocs has information specific to JBOSS. Has Log4J something to do with JBOSS? IMO, this should be removed. The one using JBOSS should read JBOSS docs to know specific information about it and not log4j. http://logging.apache.org/log4j/1.2/apidocs/org/apache/log4j/LogManager.html#setRepositorySelector(org.apache.log4j.spi.RepositorySelector,%20java.lang.Object) "For example, when tomcat starts it will be able to install its own repository selector. However, if and when Tomcat is embedded within JBoss, then JBoss will install its own repository selector and Tomcat will use the repository selector set by its container, JBoss."
Please suggest a better wording. I think it is ok as it is - it is only an example of such a situation.
