Description dlresende 2018-11-29 11:26:41 UTC
Very often teams need to use JMeter deployed inside containers in order to perform tests, simulations, experiments, etc.

Today, there's no official JMeter container in https://hub.docker.com/r/apache/ provided by the JMeter team.

This enhancement is to suggest there's a strong case for the JMeter team to provide an official JMeter container in Docker Hub. This will help many teams running JMeter in containers to easily download an official image and start working. Today teams need to either build and maintain their own containers (which intrudoces extra burden) or use unknown third party containers available in Docker Hub (mainly not maintained or unreliable).

Does any Apache project provide docker images at all?
