Description Sebb 2020-01-19 11:30:29 UTC
Message-ID headers can sometimes be folded within the value, e.g. is one of the MTAs allows at most 78 chars per line.

The value must be unfolded before it can be used, however this does not always happen, see [1]. In this case the CRLF has been dropped, but the TAB has not.

Note that fixing this would result in a change to the Permalink.
In order to ensure the original Permalink continues to work, mod_mbox needs to be extended to support retrieval both with and without the %09 in the URL.

If the unfolding is not done, then the URL for the message in an archive can vary depending on the route it took to get to the archiver.
