steps to reproduce:
1- add smtp sampler
2- add all required information
3- click run

expected result:
Email should send successfully

actual result:
An error appears in logs

This is probably more a question about the usage of JMeter and should have been asked on the users mailing list.

To answer the question we need more information. Remember we can't see, what you are seeing, so when an error appears in the logs, it is a good idea to include them in your bug report.

Please provide a minimal test plan that can be used to replicate your observations (Credentials can be replaced with obvious placeholders) or at least looked at by us.
