UML modules on stable update center for NB5.5 needed to be updated for JavaOne
and hence the request http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=103297 was
made (and the updated bits were provided). The updated bits were staged and
tested on en locale; but during the staging cylce, accessing the production URL
displayed a dependency error dialog (as documented at
http://www.nabble.com/UML-Installation-Error-tf3702812.html#a10354721). Normally
staging new bits does not affect production downloads. (The dependancies for UML
modules for 55 are set cyclically by the UC admins manually in the catalog; not
sure if this could be the reason).

This is a transient problem that went away once the new bits were pushed to
production and hence assigning P4. Filing this bug more to document the known
issue itself...

I don't think this issue is valid. Probably it has gone with new concept of plugin visibility. Am I right?

Agreed.

The problem may raise if we ever have to update UML modules for 55, but we can reopen this issue with reproducible steps
at that time.
