NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200705301800)
1.5.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_07-87
Mac OS X version 10.4.9 running on i386
en_US (nb); MacRoman

Steps to reproduce:
1.Invoke Tools|Options (or NetBeans|Preferences on Mac OS)
2.At the bottom there is "Ask Before Check" checkbox; set it selected
3.Select Every Startup in "Check Period" combobox and push OK button 
4.Restart IDE
IDE checks for updates, but doesn't ask the user. So that "Ask Before Check"
feature doesn't work.

The option was removed from Autoupdate/Plugin Manager settings. No need to fix it.
