Hi,

on MacOS X 10.0.1 using NetBeans 3.2 RC 2, I made the changes that were suggested in http://www.netbeans.org/articles/mac.html. Working through the first tutorial, the debugger isn't able to invoke the VM. The error message reads: 
Unrecognized option: -classic
Could not create the Java virtual machine.

Please update http://www.netbeans.org/articles/mac.html with the prefered change.

Quick workaround:

Go to main menu and select: Project->Settings. Expand node "Debugger Types",
select node "Default Debugging" and change property "Classic Switch" to "False".

This bug will be fixed as a sideefect of issue #11154
