Description jiai 2007-10-23 13:54:44 UTC
The opening of a browse dialog is extremly slow. On my PC (3 GB Ram, P4 3 Ghz) it lasts 1 minute and 30 seconds before
it opens. I believe it is a regression, remembering there was a solution in previous builds.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.0 Beta 2 (Build 200710212201)
Java: 1.6.0_02; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.6.0_02-b06
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; de_DE (nb)

Because configuring some details (like application servers) using the file system browser is the first contact to those
who want to use Netbeans, the first impression the IDE is utterly devastating. Therefore I raise the priority to P2.

Please, verify with a latest trunk build that it is fixed.
