We don't do anything special with menu items, it's normal Swing. So probably error is not directly related to NetBeans, however I need more info: May you please try: - run with various JDK versions, newest one to see if problem persists - check other java apps like SwingSet2 demo coming with JDK if it suffers from the same problem - try to run with other GTK themes set and check if problem persists Waiting for your response, thanks. Only the 1.6.0.x JDK's shows the problem (I tested 1.6.0_04, 1.6.0_10). With the latest 1.5.0 the problem does not appear, but the GTK L&F on that JDK looks so ugly that it's not worth to be used... Probably all this means, that it is a bug in the 1.6 JDK, since the problem doesn't depend on the choosen GTK theme. according to reporter last comment -> closing as worksforme v/c |
