Bug 137985

Summary: 'Refresh' of status never recognize current status
Product: serverplugins Reporter: Dan Kolar <dkolar>
Component: GlassFishAssignee: _ pcw <pcw>
Status: RESOLVED INVALID
Severity: blocker
Priority: P2
Version: 6.x
Hardware: All
OS: Windows XP
Issue Type: DEFECT Exception Reporter:

Description Dan Kolar 2008-06-23 15:50:24 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200806230002)
Java: 1.6.0_10-beta; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b11
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1250; cs_CZ (nb)

1) Start the GF v3 server
2) 'Refresh' its status in runtime tab

'Running' status is turned to 'stopped' status, and subsequent refresh never realize the server is still running. Hence
the server can be 'started' again, which results in errors in servers log and sometimes new server thread is created.

More details please, I cannot reproduce this at all and the code is fairly clearly written to prevent this behavior.

I did note that the Refresh button in the output window is not wired up (separate bug). I will fix that. The Refresh
menu item on the server instance node though, should work fine.

Closing as invalid. Please reopen with more details if this is still a problem.
