The decision in 6.5 was to reimplement SQL History as a dockable window if users don't like the dialog. Jano pointed out that if SQL History were a TopComponent it would show statements the user may not care about (until the list is filtered) and thus consume unnecessary IDE real estate. I think if users vote for a dockable window then this can be considered for 7.0. Otherwise, I don't think it's a good use of time spent implementing for 7.0. I can send message to the db alias and nbusers to ask them if they prefer a dockable window then to vote and add their comments Reassigned to new owner. |
