I have installed NetBeans 6.5 IDE on my Windows XP system and when I attempt to debug code, I click on the Local
Variables tab and can see symbols under the NAME column no problem. However, the values in Type, Value do NOT show up
at all UNLESS I highlight the entire line for the symbol AND THEN click on the individual field under the appropriate
column.

For debugging, this is obviously extremely inefficient and I know it's not the intended behavior. Do you know why the
Local Variable screen would not display the appropriate text under "VALUE" without HIGHLIGHTING the line first, and then
clicking on the VALUE field specifically?

This bug is visible on JDK 1.6.0_12 and newer. It's already fixed in NetBeans 6.5.1.
