Thanks for reporting. There is no virus there if you downloaded it from http://download.netbeans.org/netbeans/6.8/rc/ It is recommended to disable firewall/antivirus before installation since various antivirus clients reports false positive and moreover can influence the installation process. http://www.netbeans.org/community/releases/68/install.html#troubleshooting You can also report it to NIS as their issue. Created attachment 91972 [details] take a new picture with virus alert I was downloaded a netbean 6.81RC but Norton Internet Security 2010 detect is a virus and delete it. I can't install it Many thanks
