Bug 184793

Summary: [69cat] XML: XML File Right-click Menu Could Have Gutter Glyphs

When right-clicking an XML file, the following menu items could have gutter glyphs (that already exist in other menus with the same commands):

Cut (e.g. Edit | Cut )
Copy (e.g. Edit | Copy )
Check XML (e.g. Run | Check XML)
Validate XML (e.g. Run | Validate XML)
etc...

Hmmm... I'm noticing that gutter glyph are not used for right-click pop menus. They are only available in menu bar menus.

Is this intentional?

If it is intention not to have icons in the glyph gutter for right-click pop menus... then why have the (empty) glyph gutter at all?

This issue needs to be analyzed holistically for the entire IDE.

Thanks.
