The PHP formatter doesn't respect "new line" parameter, whereas under windows xp, it works with the same configuration. :

Formatting
Language : PHP
Category : alignment > New lines for all four checkboxes

and

Category :  braces > all are setted to "new line"

The preview is right, but in editor, braces stay on the same line.

It works for me as expected. Could you attach the file, where it doesn't work? Does the file have an error?
