Description muellermi 2011-09-26 06:44:06 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 Beta (Build 201109222201)
Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 21.0-b17

During install, an existing (previous install) of GlassFish is not recognized. NB installer offers "GlassFish" to check instead of displaying "installed".
Even though I reported this before, I'll open a new issue, since this is the first time it happened to me using the beta usinf WinXP.

other than before, the existing instance is still not recocnized after install. Manually adding server is no problem and starting from the IDE works again.
Comment 3 muellermi 2011-09-26 06:58:39 UTC
"the existing instance is still not recognized after install"
This might have been caused by not importing any configuration from the nightly build.

take a look at issue #202590
Comment 5 Vince Kraemer 2011-09-26 12:59:52 UTC
Do you see this issue as you are running the installer or do you see it after the installation is completed?

Can you attach a screenshot of the screen that does not appear to be correct?

Again with 201109260601, see screenshots

the screenshots show screens from the installer... the plugin doesn't control the content of those screens
Comment 9 Yulia Novozhilova 2011-09-28 13:06:54 UTC
I asked you in #202180:

Please attach installation log[1] and registry.xml[2] file the next time you
are able to reproduce the problem. Thank you!
[1] %USERDIR%\.nbi\log\*.log
[2] %USERDIR%\.nbi\registry.xml

Could you please, do this?
