Description supuhstar 2011-11-09 21:27:33 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.1 Beta (Build 201109252201)
Operating System = Windows NT (unknown) version 6.2 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0_01
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 21.1-b02

In the Properties window for any given NetBeans Java project, the text field labeled "JAR File" in the "Packaging" section is disabled. I see no reason for this, and, in fact, manually editing the configuration file to change the value of this field has no negative effects. Why shouldn't the user be able to modify the contents of this field?
