Discovered as a part of issue #209996.

Steps:
- on Linux, have NB with GTK L&F (the same likely applies for WinXP)
- make any panel in project customizer invalid (works for both, an error or a warning)
=> message background is white

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
