This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 177262, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

please see screenshot, at some point in time things should start running off-awt, reassigning to utilities for evaluation

I think that the problem in Petr's snapshot is fixed by http://hg.netbeans.org/main-golden/rev/7cbe1576bbb0 from 2013-03-01. There are no more reports since 2013-02-13. Please reopen if it happens again. Thank you
