As can be seen from the attached snapshot, code completion thread waits for the parsing lock held by the find usages query which is slow due to slow IO.

I do not think that report 774157 was caused by slow file system.
My project and userdir are located on SSD, Netbeans cache is located on "in memory" folder (/tmp).

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
