copy from ? paste where ? .. also file type might be important Thanks in advance. I was talking about copy-paste within Java documents. Even within the same document. I do not have this problem with 7.3, only with the development builds. Created attachment 140093 [details]

Environment: Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201309140002) Java: 1.8.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.0-b48 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0-ea-b106 System: Mac OS X version 10.7.5 running on x86_64; UTF-8; en_US (nb) User directory: /Users/ionuion/Library/Application Support/NetBeans/dev Cache directory: /Users/ionuion/Library/Caches/NetBeans/dev I was not able to construct the steps to get to the state when the issue occurs. My conclusion is that copy is the culprit. Pasting text copied from other applications works. Please see attached screencast.
