"Hints Options should expand tree when searching" was introduced for Java-Hints in 
https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=232234

It would be useful to have the same feature for all the other types of hints (HTML/JS/POM/...)

sadly there is no common infrastructure for hints UI presentation
