Which DE/WM are you using? Is NetBeans the only application giving painting problems?

I am using Ubuntu Unity.

I can no longer reproduce this.  Could have been a temporary glitch with the window manager and/or video driver.

This happened to me again today using the dev build.  I tried moving the NB window to a different monitor, repeating the search, closing the "Usages" output window - none of those fixed the problem.  Restarting NetBeans did clear it up. Will attach IDE log shortly.
