Description _ proxity 2003-04-04 17:47:30 UTC
[BTW: I can only select 3.5 here, but I have 3.4.1]

Please increase the height of the "Type" drop-down
box by 1 in the "New Property Pattern" dialog that
is opened when I click on "Add Property"" in the
"Bean Patterns" tree view.

The "Type" drop-down box shows all available types
except String. You have to scroll down for this.
Unfortunately this is the most often used type for
properties, when you develop web applications. I
use it a dozen times a day, so it get's annoying
to scroll down, because the list is too short for
all items. Please change this.

To use it even quicker I suggest to remove the
Read-Only/Read-Write button. IMHO it's enough to
select what access methods should be generated.

I would also like to suggest that the 'generate
field', 'generate return statement' and 'generate set
statement' checkboxes be checked by default, as I do not
believe I am alone in finding these to be the most common
choices.

plank, you are right. Another idea would be to use radio buttons
instead of the drop-down list, because it does not have that much entries.

In 5.0 String is now the default, but you still have to scroll the list when you
want the top item. Is it so difficult to add 1 to the list size?

this dialog was completely rewritten...
