I haven't been able to nail it down but there is a
series of menu switches that cause the project
view to show all cvs directories as packages. I
have the source mounted in cvs. I don't have an
exact key sequence but so far it has involved
switching to the files tab to look at non source
files and switching back to the project view. At
taht point the cvs folders stay until I restart
netbeans.

Which build do you use? Beta 1?

Probably duplicate of something already fixed, but TBD.

Reporter: note that you can probably refresh the display when it
occurs by closing and reopening the affected project(s).

I use beta 1 as I haven't seen a beta 2 yet. (I don't build from source)

Reporter: note that there are nightly builds which contains fixes not
in the beta. (As well as new bugs, of course, so you are not
necessarily advised to use the nightlies.)
