In theory it should not be possible because the wizard checks if there is another project already. What build do you use? What's content of the D:/work/midlet/uiwidget/MobileApplication? Does it mean that you aren't able to create a mobile project at all? Is it reproducible? What build are you using? (netbeans, mobility pack) This use: Product Version = NetBeans IDE 5.0 Beta 2 (Build 200511141730) Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86 I am not able to create a mobile project at all if I use: java version "1.5.0-beta2" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0-beta2-b51) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0-beta2-b51, mixed mode) When I change Java 1.5.0 --> 1.4.2_05 then the wizard works fine. It is very likely a problem of jdk1.5 beta2, note that it was pre-final version of jdk and many problems were reported and fixed in that version of jdk. I suggest to install latest version of jdk which is J2SE 5.0 (jdk 1.5) Update 6 at the moment. ok, The wizard working well with J2SE 5.0 (jdk 1.5) Update 6. according the last comment marking as WORKSFORME don't use with 1.5.0-beta |
