I open web.xml then click on the XML tab to edit the XML directly. CPU usage
then hits 100% and goes on forever. I end up having to kill the Netbeans
process. This works fine under Tiger 1.5.0_06.

This is actually a duplicate of already known issue. Thanks for your report anyway !
