It should be possible to specify that a snapshot of memory usage, CPU results,
or perhaps someday the telemetry values (see
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=89301) should be taken at a
specific point in time.  This would allow the user to store snapshots at regular
intervals, for example:

- every 4 hours
- at 11:00 PM every day

etc...
