True. Currently the ExplorerManager is stored, which stores the root + selection, and to fix this it would have to store various expanded paths which are not selected. I'm not sure if this would be an API change or not. The NbMainExplorer can be extended to store state of its tree. Target milestone -> 3.3 Target milestone -> 3.3.1. *** Issue 15840 has been marked as a duplicate of this issue. *** Important, usability improvement. Impl may be tricky, consult with architecture team. I think the behavior is not important for a frequently end-user I suppose seldom restart IDE while developing.
