Comment 1: Please see: http://swforum.sun.com/jive/thread.jspa?forumID=123&threadID=65081 http://swforum.sun.com/jive/thread.jspa?forumID=123&threadID=62598 It has also been reported on Chinese and Japanese Creator forums. It is a fairly visible component that our customers use and many are seeking for a solution. Comment 2: Here are the steps to reproduce: Follow the tutorial at http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/learning/tutorials/2/file_upload.html You don't need to put the labels but you want the rest of the components to be there with the proper id's, as they are used in the code snippets. You will see that when navigating to a mbyte file name, the image does not appear. The file name appears correctly after the fix for xxxxx. Tested using the following configurations and the behaviour is the same for all. 1. Glassfish / J2EE 1.5 container 2. AS9U1 ML / J2EE 1.5 container 3. Bundled Tomcat 5.5.17 / J2EE 1.4 container The tutorial has been updated to write the uploaded file to a fixed filename. If you see February 2007 in the dateline, then you are reading the updated tutorial. based on comments below, am verifying. |
