This has happened when uninstalling Enterprise Pack, Visual Web Pack, Netbeans,
and most recently when installing the latest NetBeans tools bundle.   See
attached screenshot.

Unfortunately I can`t reproduce the issue (specifically, with java tools 
bundle).

Could you please attach the installation log?
It is located at "C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temp" and 
has name like netbeans-5_5-installation-<timestamp>.<rnd>.log

What locale are you tring to run the installer?

I am using English US locale.  I'm in Canada.

When the message boxes were blank, I could still use them by pressing space or
enter. I think for some I tried ALT-N and ALT-Y for Yes/No.
