In many companies firewall restrictions are pretty strict. For example in our
company every employee, who wants to use additional ports, needs to sign a
formal paper, which has to be accepted by our manager aso. 

Since I want to use eg. the 'developer cooperation' feature and its not a real
option that every employee who wants to use this feature too applies for an
exception in the firewall, I suggest to add a 'skype' like feature to connect to
the collab server. See example:

Reassigning to issues@collab. Collab Support plugin is not actively maintained.

Obsoleted in 6.7 by the newly introduced integration with Project Kenai, a
collaborative environment for developers to host their open-source projects,
which includes also a chat service.
